Conference USA baseball notebook

The 2007 Conference USA Baseball Championship gets underway on Wednesday at Clark-LeClair Stadium in Greenville, N.C. No. 5 seed Memphis faces No. 4 seed Houston to open the tournament at 9 a.m. ET, followed by (8) UCF against (1) Rice. Second session action features (6) UAB playing (3) Southern Miss at 4 p.m. ET, followed by (7) Tulane against host (2) East Carolina.
