Marshals, Copperheads Sweep into the TCL Championship

Coppell and McKinney swept through their respective TCL Divisional series and head into the Championship series which begins on Friday. The night was filled with critical home runs hit by Coppell's Brandon Belt and McKinney 's Derek Wiley (Belmont) and Dustin Hood (Wake Forest). McKinney won their sixth straight playoff game including the undefeated run during the 2006 playoffs. The Copperheads will own home field advantage during the Championship series due having a better regular season record than the Marshals.
