Ole Miss, Southern Miss give coaches extensions

Ole Miss baseball coach Mike Bianco and Southern Miss coach Corky Palmer both received contract extensions through 2011, according to announcements Thursday from the schools.

Four-year deals are the maximum allowed by state law. Both extensions are pending approval of the state College Board, usually a formality.
