Seth Williams wins game for UNC

Seth Williams hit a three run homer to break a tie at 3 in the bottom of the ninth to lead the Tar Heels to a 6-3 victory over Charlotte on Tuesday. The Tar Heels got 5.2 scoreless innings of relief from Matt Danford and Andrew Carignan. UNC was led on offense by Freshman All-American candidate Dustin Ackley who continued his hitting steak to 27 games by going 3-4 with an RBI. Charlotte's offensive star was Chris Lane who was perfect in his three plate appearances with an RBI. UNC will be back in action on Wednesday when they head to Elon while Charlotte will host Presbyterian before going to URI this weekend. The CBB might check out Charlotte this weekend.
