UNC-Wilmington shutdowns VCU

After giving up 13 runs on Friday, The UNC-Wilmington Seahawks shutout the VCU Rams 3-0 in CAA action. Jeff Hatcher of UNC-Wilmington pitched a complete game shutout to get his second victory of the season. Senior catcher John Batts went 2-2 at the plate with two RBI's to lead the hitting attack. The teams play the rubber game tomorrow at 2 pm.
