Duke hosts Temple and Xavier

The Duke Blue Devils will host Temple on Tuesday and Xavier on Wednesday before opening the ACC season against the Boston College Eagles. Duke enters Tuesday's game with a 13-1 record while Temple enters with a record of 2-7. The Owls pitching has been atrocious in the early part of the season with a 9.95 Team ERA. Jeremy Gould (0-1, 6.52 ERA) will get the start for the Blue Devils while Rob Chamra (0-0, 27.00 ERA) gets the ball for the Owls. Xavier will enter with a 1-10 record coming off a three game sweep from Vanderbilt. They beat Oakland University to pick up their only win on the season. Both Duke and Xavier have not announced starting pitchers.
