Houston Astro College Classic Day 3 Results
Texas A&M got 4-2 victory over Number 1 ranked Rice to get to a 2-1 mark in the Houston Astros College Classic. Kyle Nicholson provided a lights out finish to the game by holding the Owls scoreless over the last 3.2 innings providing an opportunity for the Aggies to capitalize at the plate. Kelly Stinson provided a key walk and was driven in on a double by Luke Anders with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. Stinson was able to make it around the bases from first to get the lead for the Aggies.

The Vanderbilt Commodores were able to complete the sweep of the Houston Astros College Classic this weekend by knocking off Baylor 7-4 on Sunday. Dominic de la Osa was able to break a tie in the fifth inning with a two run single to drive in David Macias and Pedro Alvarez. Mike Minor was able to complete the save by pitching 2.1 innings of shutout baseball.

The Houston Cougars were slammed by the Arizona State Sun Devils on Sunday by a score of 11-1. The Cougars got zero pitching in the game as Wes Musick lasted 2.0 innings while giving up five runs (4 earned) and walking four players. Josh Satow on the other hand for the Sun Devils was marvelous pitching a complete game and only allowing six hits and one run. Ike Davis led the Sun Devils offense by going 2-4 with 3 RBI.
