George Mason knocks off Clemson

The George Mason Patriots took out the number 1 ranked Clemson Tigers on Saturday by a score of 5-1. They received a magical pitching performance from Mike Modica who gave up only one hit in six innings of work to pick up the victory. George Mason Head Coach Bill Brown was quoted after the game saying it was the greatest victory in school history. Chris Romanow picked up two hits for the Patriots while driving in a run. Jason Bour hit a three run homer in the sixth to provide all the runs the Patriots would need on the day. David Kopp pitched very well letting up four hits in 5.0 scoreless innings.
