Southern Conference Players of the Week

The Southern Conference has announced Alex Garabedian of College of Charleston was named the player of the week for the week ending on April 23rd. He hit .522 (12 for 23) with two homers while scoring five runs and driving six runs in.

The Southern Conference also has announced that Western Carolina's Greg Holland. He picked up three wins in four appearances last week.

SoCon Players of the Week for April 16th

The Citadel's Matt Crim picked up the Southern Conference Pitcher of the Week award by giving The Citadel a complete game shutout over Applachin State on April 14th. He struck out nine batters while only giving up nine hits and a walk in the 17-0 shutout. Elon's Chase Austin was named the Southern Conference Player of the Week by hitting .692 (9-13) in the weekend series with the Furman Paladins.

Southern Conference Players of the Week

The Citadel's Justin Smith picked up the Pitcher of the Week Award from the Southern Conference for the week ending March 5th. Smith earned two wins out of the teams three games last week. He pitched 9.1 innings while only allowing the opponents to hit .118. Appalachian State hitter David Rubinstein picked up the Player of the Week Award by going 13-16 over the four games last week for a batting average of .812.
