Tar Heels down Seahawks 14-2

The UNC Tar Heels completed a two game sweep over UNC-Wilmington with a 14-2 victory. Dustin Ackley led the Tar Heels like usual by going 2-3 with a homer and 5 RBIs. Reid Fronk also had a solid game by going 3-4 with 4 RBIs. Adam Warren pitched a solid six innings while giving up two runs to up his record to 6-0. UNC-Wilmington starter Ryan Doolittle was lit up for six runs in two innings of work. His record drops to 0-2 on the season. The Seahawks offense was led by Steve Halford who went 3-4.

UNC heads to Boston College for a weird Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday series. The weather in Boston is expected to drop to high 30's or low 40's for the weekend set so I might not attend because of the bad weather. UNC-Wilmington heads to Hofstra as they return to conference action.
